Autumn, Thanksgiving and the Perfect cigar
Thanksgiving brings with it a cornucopia of memories from growing up in New Jersey. The crisp autumn air, leaves in full blaze at peak foliage, and that unmistakable scent of fall in the Northeast—all of it set the perfect scene for family gatherings, football games, and tables overflowing with food.
Thanksgiving has always been about more than just the meal; it’s been a celebration of family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and the feeling of warmth that fills the house.
As I think about Thanksgiving this year, I can almost see the table spread, hear the game on in the background, and feel the warmth of everyone gathered around. And this Thanksgiving, I’m adding an extra layer to that ritual: pairing a rich, earthy Bordeaux with our 125th Anniversary cigar. The Bordeaux, with its layers of dark fruit, earthiness, and velvety texture, will meet the cigar’s depth and complexity perfectly. Together, they’ll bring a harmony that enhances each other’s bold character, a pairing that respects the legacy of the holiday and the heritage of the cigar.
There’s something uniquely gratifying in enjoying that final cigar after the meal is done, surrounded by loved ones and the quieting hum of the holiday evening. It feels like a tribute not only to the season but to years of memories and traditions that keep Thanksgiving alive, year after year.
